Lino printing is a process of carving the inverse of an image into a linoleum block, inking it, and then producing the resulting image on a surface (typically paper). The idea is much like carving a handmade stamp. It requires removing all the lino that shouldn't be part of the image (or the negative space), making it a form of relief printing.
